Happy New Year everyone!
Yesterday my husband and I went on a drive along the coast. It was incredible. We are coming up soon on our 19th anniversary. Our high for 2017 was our family road trip to Washington – 9 days on the road and visiting places like Crater Lake, Mount Rainier, the Olympic Peninsula – it was amazing. And we want to do something like that again in 2018. With my son graduating from high school this year and my daughter starting high school, we need another good family road trip. I also want to work on getting a teardrop trailer for us to use – whether it’s restoring one, building one, or finding an affordable one. That’s a 2018 goal for the two of us.
My 2018 goal – I’ve decided that I really need to focus on my “self” this year. I volunteered a lot this last year on top of my full time job. I need to work on taking the time to rest, relax, recoup, and restore. I am determined to adapt this Keto lifestyle fully for myself and see where it takes me. I’m excited about this new journey and I have a good feeling that it is going to take me to where I’m supposed to be in my life.
One of my best friends owns a day spa and I’m determined to learn all I can about health and wellness in ways that reach beyond Keto. While my Keto lifestyle will address my nutritional needs, the day spa will address my wellness needs through relaxation and restoration. I also plan on delving into the world of yoga to explore the physical needs of my body. All of this, along with my spiritual growth at church, will provide me with an absolute complete balance for well being:
Yeah. I like this plan. Let’s go 2018!
